Dr. Dickerman is one of a few neurosurgeons who was granted a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health under world-renown Dr. Ed Oldfield. After his neurosurgical residency at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York, Dr. Dickerman went on to complete a complex spine fellowship at the Texas Back Institute. Dr. Dickerman has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences and has been publishing peer-reviewed articles throughout his career. He specializes in brain cancer, traumatic brain injury and spinal disorders.
